Meet your coach

Matt Tyson

Matt Tyson is a strength and conditioning and performance coach. With a degree in Exercise and Sports Science and working his way up to an ASCA Level 2 Professional Coach, he has taken on key roles such as being a strength and conditioning coach for the Wyong Roos in 2017 and 2018 campaigns, a strength and conditioning coach for the past 6+ years with the Newcastle Knights Elite Pathways System, as well as a performance coach for Lift3 Tuggerah.

Matt blends evidence-based training fundamentals with a community-focused approach, regularly sharing training insights—from energy system programming to foundational movement strategies—through posts, guides, and instructional videos. His philosophy centers on mastering the basics to achieve athletic goals and improving performance across all levels.
